This page lists a set of possible action points extracted from the HUB4.5 meeting, which used a world cafe format to consider several interlinked discussion topics related to ideas for future HUB activities and developments.

Everyone is welcome to get involved in making these happen - HUB is defined as a participant/community-driven undertaking! - if you'd like to get involved in any of them, just add your name to them below, the people who are interested in making them happen will then be responsible for starting work on them.

ISMB 2013 Education Track Poster

Topic added Aidan Budd 09:21, 19 March 2013 (CET) note, that doesn't mean I'm signing up to do it!

  • For the first time, ISMB/ECCB 2013 in Berlin this July has an education track for posters, which HUB would fit into.
  • Abstract is submitted, conference is July 19-23, 2013, poster due July 18
  • I Agnes Hotz-Wagenblatt will be responsible for printing and presenting the poster.
  • Please send ideas, pictures, texts to me - I know somebody took pictures a time ago.
  • We will only do this if there is interest from the community - if you'd like to do this, please sign your name to the list below
  • Reasons to do this are:
    • raise visibility of HUB
    • maybe useful for your CV
    • maybe useful as a way of justifying attending the conference
  • Names of people interested in doing this:

Done, see here. The calendar is public (viewable by all), with events and sharing currently manageable by HUB organisers. With some work it could be embedded in the HUB web site (easy with normal web sites, a bit more tricky with the wiki.) Matthew 15:55, 1 March 2013 (CET)
