20:30- : Wrap-up & Glühwein at the Weihnachtsmarkt
This unseminar will be based around the topic of reproducibility in science. Introduced by a pair of short talks from the perspective of a scientist and a publisher, the main activity will focus on the importance of using the right tools and vocabulary to encourage reproducibility in science. We tried this activity out with a small group during the summer and it was a lot of fun! We’re excited to try it out at a HUB evening! We’re sure that it will provoke a good discussion of the topic throughout the evening.
This should be a fun, accessible event for everyone interested in reproducibility of scientific discoveries and published results. Also, as the last HUB of 2017, it will give us a chance to enjoy a flask of Glühwein on the markets together afterwards – non-alcoholic options will be available too 🙂
HUB is organised by a team of people working at several different life-science organisations within Heidelberg, with your help – just get in touch or talk to us on the night.
